I like shot 3 best, very nice.

doomaniac writes:(new) 03.04.2007, 12:10 GMT+1

The idea is good. Not all computers run Doom 64:Absolution.

xechireon writes:(new) 05.04.2007, 23:20 GMT+1

Both Doom64 and ZDoom have fancy colored lighting stuff. I think screenshot 1 could use that.

dethtoll writes:(new) 06.04.2007, 16:38 GMT+1

blah. why not use gzdoom and bring it closer to the original look using openGL?

doomaniac writes:(new) 06.04.2007, 18:01 GMT+1

But if your pc runs GZdoom,use it.If don't,use zdoom.Simple.

NiGHTMARE writes:(new) 06.04.2007, 19:52 GMT+1

Well, if it were for GZDoom only, he could include Doom64's 3D floors. But as it's for ZDoom, he can't.

doomaniac writes:(new) 07.04.2007, 09:16 GMT+1

Does Doom 64 have 3d Floors?

(I know the image quality is terrible, but you should just about be able to make them out, particularly in the bottom screenshot.)

dethtoll writes:(new) 07.04.2007, 16:20 GMT+1

as it is now, it just looks fucking terrible due to the reduced pallette.

anyone whose PC can't run gzdoom needs a new PC. it's 2007, get with the times.

scalliano writes:(new) 07.04.2007, 21:03 GMT+1

D64's 3D floors weren't really 3D - they were just shifting floors that moved when you went around a corner. Nothing ZDoom couldn't handle I expect, but I'm no expert. Still, with GZDoom they might be easier to implement, especially if multiplayer is on the cards ;)

NiGHTMARE writes:(new) 07.04.2007, 21:45 GMT+1

The screenshots linked to above would beg to differ :).

doomaniac writes:(new) 07.04.2007, 21:54 GMT+1

I wanna see the Mother Demon,The Outcast Levels, the Stalker,NightCrawler,Acid Demons and other things Doom 64:Absolution has.

MasterOfPuppets writes:(new) 15.04.2007, 02:51 GMT+1

Doom 64 requires colored lights and fog, otherwise its textures are just too colorless.

Ixnatifual writes:(new) 15.04.2007, 05:03 GMT+1

Hmm.. Looks pretty nice in these shots though.

gourhaus writes:(new) 19.04.2007, 13:22 GMT+1

i agree, it dosent hav 2 be perfect just close lol

joe2 writes:(new) 19.04.2007, 19:57 GMT+1

the lighting should be better the monsters and weapon sprits can be better and use GZDoom to make it vary close to the Doomsday version and like i said befor make an intro and an outro it mit take a little longre to do but hay the longer it takes the better it is.. like The Ultimate Torment & Torture it took really long to finish and it was the greatis map pack i played for GZDoom

nightside writes:(new) 02.06.2016, 18:23 GMT+1

An almost complete work of ancient design ZDoom 64 ... has the 32 stages of the N64 and are all complete, just missed some things because of my knowledge of ACS which is limited ...
