Description: Random map based on the Heretic Treasure Chest megawad (E1M5) http://www.doomworld.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=37792 The map is based on a small desolate town hidden deeply within the mountains. Done. Pm me at doomworld for beta tests. HTC members only.

You never cease to amaze me Kaiser, is there ANY game utilizing the Doom engine that you HAVEN'T mapped for? Anyway, I'm pretty impressed. You've made excellent use of Heretic's... limited... resources. Compared to some of the maps you've made for Doom, it's just a tiny bit underdetailed, but beautiful none the less. The first screen shot is probably my personal favorite.
It looks good but not that good to agree with all those Kaiser-praising persons. Some parts of it are a bit empty and monotone... but I think that's really a problem with Heretic's limited resources. Nonetheless, can't you add a few new textures to your map or doesn't the Heretic Treasure Chest allow this?!
The resources has nothing to do with how a map is designed. Empty? I'd prefer room for the player to move around in.
Sure, the third shot looks good but the first two ones are empty, I think that has something to do with the scale for these rooms. Heretic never used the building textures that way and maybe that's the reason for it. Conc. the resources: They do have something to do with the design of a map, because it obviously depends on what structures you can create with the textures and flats given and what not. Same goes for possible texture clashes of floor and wall parts. Just to make things clear: I didn't say it looks bad ;) Just empty!
Call me a Kaiser praiser, but those screens are top notch. Simple and clean, yet has a detailed and atmospheric look.
