Long time player, first time mapper. Vanilla deathmatch map for Doom 2.

More detail has been added to most areas, opened some areas up, layout's now complete.

Constructive criticism or suggestions welcome.

Map will probably be part of a small map pack, as I've got a few more deathmatch map ideas ready to get done.

Thanks. Like I said though, it needs more detail and to be a little less cramped in some places. I feel I've overused a the light brown concrete texture a bit too much, so I need to handle that.

Again, thank you. Waiting on an update to go through, as I've updated the map with plenty more detail. All the layouts now done and so is texture work. I'm working on Thing placement and then I'll do some testing with a few players and then release it in a day or two.

I've got another map nearly finished which I'm going to publish on here very soon.

I think xtal just goofed. He put Doomsday under the port area because that's what he took the screenshots with. But looking at the description he says it's a DM map for vanilla Doom 2, hence why it wouldn't have high res textures.

If it's a map for vanilla Doom 2 then you should select Doom2.exe as your port, not Doomsday, FYI.

Fair enough, my mistake. It is vanillia doom2 - I'll make the change.

I'll also release the map in the next day or so, along with some screenshots from it's nearly finished sequel.
