Description:

The fifth and likely final in the IC200x series of levels. This is going to be another overly big and sprawling techbase, with a sizeable hell/gothic area to boot (which isn't mapped yet). It's already getting close to 25,000 sidedefs and over 1000 sectors, and I have a fair bit more planned, so it'll need a port that removes the 32k limits by the time it's done.

Uses textures and flats from a variety of sources, including stuff from Quake 1/2, Tormentor's Blood Resource Pack, Episode 5/Recoloured textures by Nightmare and NMN's Texture Set. And a recoloured door by SargeBaldy.

Progress is coming along steadily at the moment, but it's still a fair way from completion.

Update 15/11/2005: I've decided to split the wad into 2 levels, with map 02 being a boss-style encounter. Map 01 is pretty much finished now, and has ended up being a few hundred sidedefs below the 32768 limit. SEGs are obviously a bit over. I haven't done much on Map 02 yet, but that'll hopefully change over the next few weeks. It may or may not be done by the end of the year.

If anybody is interested in playtesting what's completed so far I'd be grateful for a bit of feedback.

Update 28/12/2005: Well, I wanted to get this out the door before 2006, so I've decided to release it as the one completed map. I'll use what I have done for map 2 elsewhere.

Looks really good. Detail is amazing and the design aspect is quite ingenious :D hell the last map i completed...look above :P has rough;y 28k lindefs and 2k sectors...but is kinda small :P This looks rather large and inviting especially for big battles with hell spawn :)
