This project will be at least 12 maps for Doom Legacy using a lot of 3d floors besides the usual 'floor over floor' room dealie such as (tables, chairs, grates, broken floors, beams, torch jobbys, beds, etc...). All of the maps will be set in gothic / medieval themed areas.

[edit] The shot with the dual bridge is very unfinished. The bridge is basically finished but the surrounding area needs a lot of work.

looks like something worth installing legacy.

dethtoll writes:(new) 01.03.2005, 08:17 GMT+1

looks pretty cool.

First screenshot looks nice.

The second screenshot looks familiar for some reason..

This is freaking great!

Nmn writes:(new) 03.03.2005, 14:57 GMT+1

Looking very promsiing there Doom Dude. As everything from You ;)

Jow writes:(new) 03.03.2005, 15:24 GMT+1

Aww... that first shot makes me want 3d stuff for Doomsday... awww... Mysterious floating protecting pentagram... not much protection against teh shotgun! :) Could add something to the first floor of that room. The third shot is cool. You can walk above that grating?

Thanks for the comments.

@Jow. I've since added pillars to support the pentagram. Looks way better now. I did update the 2nd shot which is now showing... And that is a Yes to you can walk across the top of the grating as I have a cross corridor up there...

@Spork. You reviewed Blood Pentagram when I released it as a single level, but the net since ate the review I guess.

Kristus writes:(new) 04.03.2005, 00:10 GMT+1

Sorry, second pic is still cheezy. Huge pentagrams have a tendancy to be extremely cheezy. Specially when they're elevated like this one.

Pentagram floor detail == Good
Flying pentagrams that are huge as hell == bad

Doom_Dude writes:(new) 04.03.2005, 19:24 GMT+1

Sorry but It's the way I designed the level, the way I like it and it'll remain that way with the big 'cheesy' pentagram in the big cheesy room.

Nmn writes:(new) 04.03.2005, 19:58 GMT+1

I have no idea why this pentagram appears cheezy, crappy or whatever stupid words personal opinion may spawn.

I really like the design of that room. Quite innovative and interesting-something I'll be always looking forward to.

Doom_Dude writes:(new) 05.03.2005, 21:36 GMT+1

Yeah I have no idea either what's up with the cheese talk. That's something i would credit to Imp strippers or a big bare assed wall that replaces the Icon of Sin and has cubes flying out of its butt. :p Meanwhile work continues and I have 10 maps on the go for this. I found some Legacy stuff I had worked on and never finished that will help a lot.

Aliotroph? writes:(new) 05.03.2005, 21:48 GMT+1

That room (and the level) is great! Pentagrams are only cheesy if done badly. Remember, this IS hell and these symbols are all over the game. Monuments like that are to be expected -- and used as a platform for toasting imps!

This is going to be a fun wad. Good to see something fantastic looking come along for Legacy. :D

dethtoll writes:(new) 08.03.2005, 08:15 GMT+1

imp strippers.

you know, i've got a stack of $20s...

Looks nice, keep on going. :)

Nice looking Doom_Dude. Any release date or possibility to playtest these maps?... BTW, this is not my comp. I canīt log into WIP from it but I could write text and make screens at home and upload my WIPS from another comp.

Doom_Dude writes:(new) 18.01.2006, 00:39 GMT+1

Thanks Sitters and danimetal.

@danimetal. No release date. I'm just picking away at the maps in bewteen working on Vilecore II and I'm kinda waiting for Legacy 2.0 to appear as well... Most of the maps are bare bones except for about three. I'll bug you for playtesting when I get more done. ;)

Nmn writes:(new) 22.01.2006, 20:00 GMT+1

Argh, classic design there. One I've seen for quite some time. Keep it going buddy. Looking forward to playing it.

Charlemagne writes:(new) 30.07.2006, 11:02 GMT+1

Whats up? I must admit it the screenshots look sweet if you ask me.
