Description:

Tech/Stone/Metal style CTF map for ZDaemon. Map is quite large, so it will play very well with 6 vs 6 or more players. This map will be released in CTF mappack 3 for ZDaemon.

Looks cool. I like the power chord leading to the card key. More stuff like that would be keen.

I dont think im going to put a BFG in here... Its CTF, not DM. You're supposed to capture a flag, not kill as many opponents as possible. However, I think I will throw in a plasma gun, but hard to get.

Also, I now made a barricade near the flag. This map can only be played as a team, because you need one that grabs the flag and another to hit the switch that opens the barricade. If you try to grab the flag on your own, you may be happy once you got it, and then to find yourself trapped behind the barricade until a teammate comes along to open it.

To imply that CTF with two people is a sin? Anyway nice screenies, can't wait, and don't forget to Skulltaggify it someday :p

1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2 CTF is just plain bullshit. Even 3 vs 3 is still fucked up, it only starts getting nice at 4 vs 4, but for the good games you need teams of 6 vs 6 or more and preferrably clans that have a specific strategy planned instead of a bunch of idiots that try to play DM on a CTF map as I see a lot on that L@P CTF server.

But anyway; I changed that barricade so it can be opened from both sides. The gameplay tests have proven it just didnt work out right, but now it does.

Yea Skull Tag... unfortunately people dont know that name or dont know what it actually is. If they only knew... :)

The new shots kinda reminds me of Quake II, though it's very different colors and textures, but it looks like it has similar athmosphere, maybe a bit lighter&brighter&cleanier...

Played the map on zdaemon it was a great and fun map, and detail was great and didnt get in the way. And I wont play any CTF map above 4 vs 4 no matter how big it is . .
