This is a Deathtag and Capture the Skull project, all of which is going to be created entirely by myself. Before I go on about what Deathtag is, those last two screenies may look like crap, but don't despair, all the levels have not entered the detailing stage yet.

For those who don't know what Deathtag or Capture the Skull is, they are two types of Deathmatch varients, which require (usually for Deathtag, but always for Capture the Skull) the assistance of one other person to obtain a point. Whoever is the first to five points is usually the winner, but they have to teleport to an area, where they have to wait for another teleporter to drop down, while defending their own life. The difference between Deathtag and Capture the Skull however, is that Deathtag requires one person to wear a Radiation Suit (which is obtained by the second person hitting a switch in the opponents base), and to go on a runway to score, while Capture the Skull requires one person grabbing the opponents skull, and hitting a switch so the second person can score.

Since I have other things to do in my life, I personally don't know when this will be released.

Haha Wolfenstein texture :O
The gameplay sounds too complex for me .. I'd rather play CTF or straight DM

Yes, this project looks interesting.. and those last two areas are in need of some additional detailing (and the first two have some alignments to deal with). But um, why is this marked as doom(2).exe?

Udder: Deathtag (and it's variants) were very popular way back in 1996, before Quake came out. It might sound hard in theory, but it's a lot more easier when you actually get to play it.

Baldy: it's marked as doom(2).exe because every other Deathtag map in existance is made for doom(2).exe, and this one isn't an exception.

That Wolf Texture on Screenshot #2 doesn't really fit (metal or brick or grey would do better). The idea for the mod is nice tough.

Nmm: To quote myself, "Before I go on about what Deathtag is, those last two screenies may look like crap, but don't despair, all the levels have not entered the detailing stage yet."

Remember, it doesn't hurt to take a thorough read at something.

I was a big fan of the original UDM wad, and I look forward to this release. I think the CTF and point thingies are cool, however they're only really useful for teamplay. I like screenshot 2, I think Wolf3D textures mixed with Doom 2 textures is pretty cool, I have done that myself before. Good luck with it.

Oh dear. Another Wolfenstein disaster.
