A 10 Map hub for Hexen.

Mapset completed! only playtesting and adjusting now.

MAP01: "The Descent" (hub) Swamp/ancient underground complex
MAP02: "Hell 1" Hell map with many raising platforms
MAP03: "Hell 2" Labyrinthine cave system with many pitfalls
MAP04: "Demeters Bog" Swamp map
MAP05: "Hell 6" [REDACTED] map with [REDACTED]
MAP06: "Frozen Tomb" Gloomy map with narrow icy pathways
MAP07: "Hell 3" Ice map with floors in constant flux
MAP08: "Hell 4" Demon hall of feasting
MAP09: "Hell 5" Hell map with many broken floor fragments.
MAP10: "Finale" Mega ultima bossfight

Aiming for fairly quick time between sections, for a slightly faster pace than original Hexen. I've managed to learn a lot about scripting and have included many cross-map triggers, building platforms out of lava, earthquakes, ambient sounds, traps and flavor descriptions. Also making use of custom music and the "fade" function.

Hell 3, Ice map completed: floors in constant flux, controlled by a huge looped script that randomly lowers and raises the floors at random speeds and heights, and triggers random quakes around the map. Its a lot of fun to play! Now working on Hell 4: the finely built "Demon Pad"

Yep have learned a lot over the last 4/5 weeks. From knowing nothing about scripting, to using them extensively and creating cross-map triggers and hub like level design a la original hexen.

MAP05 and MAP06 completed. now just need to finish the swamp map, the finale, and MAP4 (the demon hall)

I love it so far! It's really great! I'm stuck on the hell 2 thick-green-fog-with-many-afrits thingy. What do I need to do there? I killed everyone except a monster. Do I need to kill all the monsters or what?

All you need to do in Hell 2 is grab the axe key and the first piece of your ultimate weapon.

Then you can get out of that hell hole. Probably the weakest map in the hub, it was designed to be a monotonous labyrinthine, where most of the "fun" is from navigating around by map and discovering the various lava-ringed grotto's.

Yea, I grabbed the Quietus piece, so now I'm set on an adventure to find the Axe key!! I like the map tbh. Once I fell in a hole (clumsy me) but noclip saved me... thats the only time when I cheated.
