Hello to all !

I am proud to present a map I've been working on for quite some time (1 whole year). It is my second map released to the public (First one was an e1m8 remake) and I tried my best to take into account the feedback I got from my first map.

It is a map for zdoom and thus it has been tested on the latest svn builds of zdoom/gzdoom. Everything works as it should and I haven't found any bugs yet but if you do, please be so kind and report them in the comment section and I will try my best to adress the isues.

The map takes the e4m1 slot (It's for ultimate doom) and it started as an e4m1 remake. However, as I went on with building the map, I found that I couldn't do very much on it that was worthy of a remake so I decided to make it a standalone map that maintains a few "known" areas (You might recognise the starting area of e4m1 for example).

The map is not very challenging mostly because it was not my primary objective. My aim was to make a map that prones exploration (You can find a total of 15 secrets: Some are easy, others may be a little harder to find) and I think I succeeded in that matter. I tried to make the monster placement interesting although you may find it a litle random at times (I'm not very good at monster placement but I'm working on it ^^).

The map comes with "new" textures (Mostly from realm667) and a few "new" monsters (Also realm667)but I wanted to keep the original roster to a maximum so there aren't that many new monsters ;)

I would like to have your opinion on the map (Constructive criticism), so don't hesitate to comment.

WOW. What a map. French ? écoute, c'est tellement bon que ça fait mal :) Quelques bugs; un ascenceur qui descend et qu'on peut activer sans descendre et qui ne remonte pas, vers le milieu fin. Très près de cet ascenceur, des collones qu'on peut gravir, qui nous mène au trou ... Deux Thamuz ça frappe. Secrets excellents, tout excellent. Bravo

I see that you speak french rather fluently (Am I wrong?).

Could you be more precise on that "elevator" please? I need to know so I can adress the issue? Are you talking about the elevator that takes you to the final area perhaps?

Two thamuz may be a bit much but trust me, there were 3 (on UV) before and I wanted to make it a little easier yet I also wanted the player to have a small challenge. Thats why I went with 2 :) You can still find only 1 if you play on easier difficulties ^^

I think two Thamuz is right; fun and still challenging without being frustrating.

The elevator is the one next to the three sets of computers which will take you down to the red/blue circling light devasted tech base. From upstairs, a careful doomer will sometimes activate a switch with a fast safe retreat from getting down in a trap; doing that there lets the player without much to do, stuck facing a closed door.

There are some places too where you can get stuck from a fast run; I am thinking of those areas in the corridor next to where you land from that elevator. Even one is kinda broken and invites you to jump down ...

Also, you have some closed windows in the game that shouldn't let projectiles get through, but that's very minor.

I am pretty sure I could find more (and I did) but that's what I remember from my first run, I repeat, an excellent one.
